Buy books and baked goods to help the Berne Library

To the Editor:

Thank you to everyone in the community who cleared off their book shelves and donated books for the Friends of the Berne Library Book Sale.  The tables at the Berne Senior Center are now stocked with a massive number of books.

Visitors to our Book Sale on Saturday, March 29, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Sunday, March 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. can choose from all genres.  We have, at bargain prices, fiction best sellers, mysteries, romance novels, adventure books, and fantasy.

In the non-fiction section, we have a huge collection of cookbooks, garden books, craft books, biographies, history, geography, diet books, self-help, humor, and religious books.  In the children’s section you can choose from new and old favorites.

And we have a wide assortment of multi-media including music on CDs and cassettes, movies on DVDs and VHS, and audio books.   We even have puzzles.

The soup pots will be on with a variety of soups so that visitors can browse our big selection at their leisure.  A bake sale will also be ongoing.

The Friends of the Berne Library truly appreciate the support of our community.  Hope to see you this weekend.
