The Winters celebrate 60 years of matrimony

George and Janice Winters flank their daughter, Kim Behuniak, at their 60th wedding anniversary celebration.

George and Janice Winters, formerly of Voorheesville, were honored on their 60th wedding anniversary by their daughter, Kim Behuniak, with a three-day excursion of Boothbay, Maine and surrounding islands.

The anniversary dinner was a gala event, held at Fisherman’s Wharf, overlooking the harbor. After a champagne toast, a menu of shrimp, scallops, steak, and lobster was highlighted with a 60th-anniversary decorated cake, and Irish coffee.

Mrs. Winters is the daughter of the late Kenneth and Dorothy Tice of Voorheesville, and Mr. Winters is the son of the late George and Alice Winters of Westerlo.

The Winterses report they had a wonderful trip through the colors of New York, Vermont, and New Hampshire. They live at Schroon Lake, and Port Richey, Florida.
