Clarkson honors
These local students were named Presidential Scholars for the fall 2012 semester at Clarkson University:
— Luke D. Berte, a senior majoring in financial information and analysis, from Voorheesville;
— Melissa K. Bogart, a freshman majoring in engineering studies, from Voorheesville;
— Karen M. Dawson, a senior majoring in chemical engineering and environmental engineering, from Voorheesville;
— Victoria H. Kocsis, a sophomore majoring in biology and biomolecular science, from Berne; and
— Kevin A. Mason, a junior majoring in chemical engineering, from Altamont.
Presidential scholars must achieve a minimum 3.80 grade-point average and carry at least 14 credit hours.
Dean’s list
The following students were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2012 semester at Clarkson University:
— Brendan J. Elmore, a freshman majoring in biomolecular science, from Schenectady;
— Kevin A. Mason, a junior majoring in chemical engineering, from Altamont;
—Adam N. Bailey, a freshman majoring in civil engineering, from Voorheesville;
—Timothy R. Beninati, a sophomore majoring in civil engineering, from Berne;
— Henry C. Gifford, a freshman majoring in civil engineering, from Berne;
— Alexandria H. Page, a freshman majoring in environmental engineering, from Schenectady; and
— Stacey Wen, a senior majoring in innovation and entrepreneurship, from Schenectady.
