The Hannaford Helps Fight Hunger campaign raised close to a million dollars in product and cash donations to food banks and food pantries in five states, including $304,646 in New York. Between Oct. 14 and Dec. 31, customers donated money at the register, bought boxes of food staples for local pantries, and purchased specific products that triggered donations by Hannaford to state and regional food banks.
