The Guilderville boys’ swim team, made up of Guilderland Dutchmen and Voorheesville Blackbirds, hit the water against Albany High at Albany on Monday afternoon. Guilderville led from the opening with a convincing 102-to-62 win.

Leader of the pack: Guilderville’s Luke Canfora won from start to finish in the 200-meter freestyle race. Canfora’s time in the victory was 2:12.66.

The 200-meter medley relay team — made up of Michael Ardito, An Nguyen, Winston Dong, and Andrew Lin — dominated against Albany. Here, Winston Dong performs the breaststroke portion of the relay enroute to his team’s win with a time of 1:59.99.

Making it look easy: Guilderville’s Sam Cole swims the 200-meter Individual Medley on Monday afternoon. Cole, swimming in the backstroke portion of the medley, won with a time of 2:25.82.

With a water web on his arm, Victor Dai battles in the 100-meter freestyle race. Dai finished third with a time of 1:01.52. Guilderville’s Joseph Gravino qualified for state competition in the 50- and 100-meter freestyle, based on his times.
