Holiday tunes: During last weekend’s annual greens show at the historic Mynderse-Frederick House in Guilderland Center, Helene Runion puts the guests in a holiday mood with her songs. Donna Crego modeled the wedding gown of Apolonia Frederick and her husband, John Overbeck, played his dulcimer. The couple lives nearby in Guilderland’s oldest house.

Cup of tea: These teddy bears picnicked on a cannonball bed in an upstairs kids’ bedroom in the Mynderse-Frederick House in Guilderland Center during last weekend’s greens show put on by the Guilderland Garden Club and Historical Society.

Just hanging out: These two handmade ornaments were made by the Guilderland Garden Club during last weekend’s free greens show at the Mynderse-Frederick house, which also had a scavenger hunt for the kids. Proceeds from handmade wreaths and ornaments went to the Butterfly House at Farnsworth Middle School. Garden butterflies were sold to benefit the Rodino family, which has been stricken with Huntington’s disease, and items were collected for a local food pantry as well.
