Elbow to elbow, and foot to foot: Watervliet was no match for Voorheesville in girls’ varsity soccer on Tuesday as the Blackbirds scored three goals in each half in a 6-to-0 shutout on the road. Who wants it? The soccer ball bounces in the air near Watervliet’s goal after it deflected off a Voorheesville player during Voorheesville’s 6-to-0 victory on the road on Tuesday. The Birds scored on two penalty kicks; Veda Hensel scored two goals and added an assist. Voorheesville is 3-0-0 on the season.
