Four Guilderland Gymnasts battled 122 other gymnasts for a state title at Shaker High School on Feb. 5 in Latham.

Bending like a comma: Guilderland’s Emily Borges puts her hands on the vault to flip in state competition Saturday. Borges finished in 23rd on the vault with a score of 8.40 and also was in the balance beam event where she finished 21st with a score of 8.225. Natalie Borges was in the balance beam event, too, and finished 39th with a score of 7.175.
