Here’s your future: Guilderland senior Emily Center reaches for her documents from Manhattan College last Thursday before signing her intent to play soccer for the Division I school next fall. Center was one of five Dutch seniors to sign intent last Thursday — Kledis Capollari (soccer, Siena College), Abby Marco (track, Lafayette College), Connor O’Brien (soccer, Stonehill College), and Jenna Robinson (cross-county/track, Marist College) were the others. Guilderland also had six more students sign intent to play college athletics last fall; five were for girls’ lacrosse. “It’s what I’m looking for,” said Center of Manhattan College. “It’s perfect.”

Onward and upward: Last Thursday, five Guilderland seniors, from left, Kledis Capollari, Connor O’Brien, Emily Center, Jenna Robinson, and Abby Marco, signed their intent for college athletics next fall. Here, the student athletes look up at Guilderland’s athletic director, Regan Johnson, who had some choice words during the press conference. Johnson told The Enterprise that Guilderland is “very proud” to have 11 kids move on to Division I and II programs; six other Dutch athletes signed intent last fall. “That’s a big deal,” he said. “They’re spectacular students and people.”
