The Enterprise — Michael Koff

“A coat could change a life,” said Albany County Executive Daniel McCoy last Thursday morning at Crossgates Mall in Guilderland to kick off the Katie’s Koats drive to collect coats for the homeless. Standing at the podium alongside McCoy are Albany County Clerk Bruce Hidley; Kaitlyn Drobner, the originator of the drive; and Loran Stanfield of Best Cleaners, which will clean the donated coats. The Homeless and Travelers Aid Society also helps with the drive.
