Rensselaerville Library Notes for Thursday, December 5, 2013
On Saturday, Dec. 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., join us at the Rensselaerville Library for the greenery sale. There will also be local vendors including: Sheepy Valley Farm; Baitsholts Farm; Margaret Sedlmeir; Black Sheep Designs; and Rensselaerville Historical Society.
There will also be a cookie and book sale. Trees, wreaths, sprays and roping can be found along festive Main St. Activities for children will be available from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Music will be provided by students from the Greenville Central School.
Felting program
On Wednesday, Dec. 11, at 6 p.m., there will be a mice felting program with Sharon Costello of Black Sheep Designs. Come learn how to felt at the library. There is a $5 supply fee. Please register for this program.
History of cycling
On Thursday, Dec. 19, at 7 p.m., professional cyclist Tyler Wren will give a presentation on the history of cycling, his career and the development of the 2014 Rensselaerville Cycling Festival.
Craft project
On Saturday, Dec. 21, at 10:30 a.m., the library will have a Snowflake craft project for kids.
Book presentation
On Saturday, Dec. 21, from 3:30 to 5 p.m., join us at the library for a presentation of Secret Language of Color, by authors Joanne and Arielle Eckstut. The presentation will be followed by a question and answer time and book signing at Stonecrop Estate Home, Carey Conference Center. Books are $30 proceeds benefit the library. Please let the library know if you are interested in a book so that we have the appropriate quantity.

Would you like one on one computer or technology help with setting up an e-mail account, word processing, Facebook, Overdrive, Ereaders, job searching sites and more? Kim is offering individual sessions at the library to help get you started with almost any common everyday computer and Internet questions.
