Bethlehem Library Notes for Friday, May 23, 2014

On Sunday, June 1, at 2 p.m., bring a current project or, if you’re a beginner, bring size 8 knitting needles to the Bethlehem Public Library for Knit One, Purl One; we’ll provide yarn to get you started. This program is for adults and children age nine and up.

Young at Heart

On Monday, June 2, at 7 p.m., join us at the library for a book discussion of Team Human by Justine Larbalestier. New members are welcome. Copies of the book are available at the information desk. Audio copies may also be available.

Crafternoon

On Wednesday, June 4, at 3:30 p.m., come to the library and make a variety of crafts with library supplies. This program is for kids in grades 

six through 12.

Author and illustrator visit

Local author Richard Matturro will read from his latest novel, Medea, at the library on Sunday, June 8, at 2 p.m. He will be joined by artist Mary Trevor Thomas, whose line drawings and photos illustrate Matturro’s work. Matturro and Thomas will share their views and insights on artistic collaboration. A book sale and signing will follow the talk.
