St. John’s Lutheran Church at 140 Maple Ave. in Altamont summer schedule:

— The summer worship schedule is one service at 9:30 a.m.

The service on Aug. 24 will be a special one marking the 30th anniversary of ordination of the pastor of St. John's, Rev. Gregory Zajac.

The guest speaker will be Rev. Richard Hegal from Blooming Prairie, Minnesota. He will be preaching on Matthew 16:13-20.  The guest lector will be Pastor Greg's sister, Joan Silex.
