Young at Heart

Young at Heart Seniors Ministry lunches are picking up momentum; we had 36 enjoying hot baked ham and macaroni and cheese. There were many different desserts and hardly anything for leftovers. Bingo is a great hit and there was lots of laughter when Mary Beth called out an “H” instead of an “I.”

Our next luncheon will be March 10 at noon with two favorite kinds of homemade soups: Yankee bean-ham and yellow split pea and ham. Cornbread, drinks, and desserts are included.

Bingo starts at 1 p.m. so bring your giggles and best stories for all to enjoy. Music is also provided. Call 797-5256 for reservations; if plans change and you can attend, don't worry about calling, just come.

Lunches are offered every second and fourth Tuesdays at the Westerlo Reformed Church Fellowship Hall on Route 143 across from Hannay Reels.
