Don’t bash police

To the Editor:  

I read the editorial [“Police need clear guidelines to use the power of discretion wisely”] about police in the Nov. 5 edition of The Altamont Enterprise, which I think is police bashing.

I think anyone ought to have graduated from a police academy and spent several years on patrol, preferably on a late night shift, before writing such articles.
