To the Editor:

I have known Dawn Jordan for almost 30 years, as a friend and neighbor, and have had the pleasure of working with her as a councilmember of the Berne Town Board and also as a previous member of the planning board.

Dawn is very dedicated to the town as she has lived here all her life and works with the best interest of the residents in mind.

Karen Schimmer has been a councilmember of the Berne Town Board for the last four years. She has dedicated her time and energy on many projects beneficial to the town.

Karen and Dawn go above and beyond to work for the residents, dedicating their time to many projects in the town, such as the Senior Meal Program, Game Farm Road, new swing sets for the town, Summerfest, and reducing our property taxes by 2 percent for 2016.

Please show your support for both Dawn Jordan and Karen Schimmer on Nov. 3.
