Notice is hereby given that I have received the tax rolls and warrant of the Board of Education of the Berne-Knox-Westerlo Central School District for the taxes assessed for the fiscal year 2015-2016. Taxes may be paid by mail to Berne-Knox-Westerlo Central School District, P.O. Box 13745, Albany, New York 12212-3745. Taxes will be received without penalty September 1, 2015 thru September 30, 2015 after September 30, 2015 add 2%. Warrant ends October 31, 2015.

Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Board of Town of New Scotland, New York will hold a public hearing pursuant to Chapter 190, Article IX, Section 190-73 of the Zoning Law on the following proposition:

A Public Hearing for Variance Application # 506

Variance Application # 506: Application Submitted by Michael Frey Requesting relief from Article V, Section 190-56 (B) of the Town of New Scotland’s Zoning Law to allow for an in ground pool to be constructed within the side setback on a parcel. The parcel is located within the “RA” district at 2005 Indian Fields Road. The parcel is owned by the applicant and is identified as New Scotland Tax parcel id # 106.-4-39.21. The Westmere Fire District, Board of Fire Commissioners at a regularly scheduled meeting held on the 27th day of August, 2015, did pass a resolution pursuant to Section l76(23) of the Town Law, to declare that its T-99 Aerial Piece of apparatus with associated equipment and apparatus is no longer necessary for the uses and purposes ofthe fire protection and prevention within the area protected by the of the Westmere Fire District. It was further resolved by the Board of Fire Commissioners that the tire district will sell said apparatus for not less than Two Hundred Thousand ($200,000.00) Dollars. Said resolution having been adopted subject to a Mandatory Referendum pursuant to l76(23) ofthe General Municipal Law, to be conducted on the 6th day of October, 2015, between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Westmere Fire District tirehouse located at 1741 Western Avenue, New York 12203-4412.
