Voorheesville

What promises to be a most successful season of motion pictures was opened last Saturday evening in the Odd Fellows’ Hall of this place. The folly of the lynch law was very cleverly outlined in a three-reel feature film, which in view of the most recent Frank lynching was most appropriate and pictured how easily mob rule can be frustrated when proper precautions are taken. Immediately after the picture dancing was enjoyed, music being furnished by Kly’s orchestra. The management has booked some of the best productions for the coming season, including “Across the Pacific, “The Great White Way,” “Black Diamond,” experiences of Charley Chaplin, and many others. Tuesday evenings will be devoted to feature, drama, and opera reels, while Saturday evenings the best comedy pictures will be produced, followed by dancing.
