Join us as we bless a headstone for Kenneth White

To the Editor,

On behalf of Kenneth's Army, we cordially invite our community to join us this Saturday, Aug. 22, at noon, at Calvary Cemetery, in Glenmont.

The love, hard work, and dedication of an army of people has finally come to fruition, and we will be blessing the headstone of our angel, Kenneth White, which was donated by our members.

This will be followed by a balloon release, and birthday celebration. It should have been Kenneth's sixth birthday on this day.

We would very much love to see the members of our community join us for this day, for a tragedy that never should have happened. In life, he had none of the things that every child deserves.

In death, he inspired a movement, touched the hearts of thousands, and changed the course of the future for his sisters, and other children. "And a little child shall lead them." [Isaiah 11:6]

Editor’s note: Kenneth White, a kindergartner at Berne-Knox-Westerlo, was murdered in his Knox home last December; his cousin, who was caring for him, has been accused of the crime.
