The Helderberg American Legion Riders of Altamont would like to thank the community for its ongoing support of our bottle drive to benefit the Leatherstocking Honor Flight.

On May 30, during an Honor Flight sendoff for a group of veterans at the Albany International Airport, we presented a check for $1,300 to the Honor Flight coordinators.  They were thrilled.

This will help fund the cost of about four veterans to Washington, D.C.  Thanks so much! Due to its success, the bottle drive will continue.
