St. John’s Lutheran Church at 140 Maple Ave. in Altamont has an informal Sunday worship service at 8:30 a.m. and a traditional service at 11 a.m.

There is no Sunday school.

 Rev. Gregory Zajac will give the sermon at the 11 a.m. service entitled, “You Can Be Sure,” based on Second Corinthians.

Choir anthem, “The Lord Be With You,” by Natalie Sleeth and sung by combined adult and children’s choirs.
